Is Galaxy really 7x?
Not in the one comparison we could measure directly. Galaxy Wood Block has 10.5x the health of the plain Wood Block and 20.1x the per-level growth. The 7x figure appears widely but does not match the numbers on screen.
Power multiplier
Mutations do more than raise numbers — they change an object's displayed tier as well.
Updated
A mutation is a prefix on the object's name — Galaxy Wood Block, Shiny Hyper Turret, Shiny Space Mortar. The index tracks them separately, with its own tab for Regular, Shiny and Galaxy, so a mutated copy is a distinct collection entry rather than a skin.
The important part is that a mutation changes the rarity the game prints, not just the stats. A plain Wood Block reads as Basic. Its Galaxy version reads as Legendary. That single comparison is why nothing on this site copies a mutated reading onto a base object.
| Reading | Wood Block | Galaxy Wood Block |
|---|---|---|
| Displayed rarity | Basic | Legendary |
| Health at level 1 | 500 | 5,250 |
| Health per level | +1.2 | +24.1 |
| Upgrade cost at level 1 | 90 | 1,400 |
Community tables generally list Galaxy as a 7x health bonus. Measured against the same object, the ratio is 10.5x on base health and 20.1x on per-level growth. We are publishing the measured pair rather than a single blanket figure, because one comparison is not enough to promise the ratio holds for every object.
If you only take one thing from this page: a Galaxy object is not a slightly better version of the plain one. It is closer to being a different object with the same picture.
Two routes. Rolling for one directly is possible but brutal at the rates the game prints. Crafting is the practical path: every relic recipe rolls a mutation on its result at 92% plain, 7% Shiny and 1% Galaxy.
That makes a 1% Galaxy chance on a guaranteed craft far more reachable than chasing one through the roll table, and it is the main argument for banking materials instead of spending every roll immediately.
| Result | Chance on a relic craft |
|---|---|
| Plain | 92% |
| Shiny | 7% |
| Galaxy | 1% |
Mutations are gated behind the skills menu rather than being available from the start. A skill called Shiny Objects was seen at 10,000 coins, which is what opens the Shiny tier for rolls. Galaxy sits further along the same progression.
One object, Punk Ice Cannon, carries a prefix we have not been able to classify. It may be a fourth mutation or it may simply be part of the object's name. Until a Regular version turns up in the index, we are leaving it listed as a base object and flagging the uncertainty rather than inventing a tier for it.

Craft. A relic recipe gives a flat 1% Galaxy roll on a result you were getting anyway, which beats hunting one through the roll table.
