Build a Base RNG Beginner Guide

Four purchases, in order, and the reason each one comes when it does.

The loop

Roll for an object, place it on your plot, run a wave, spend what the wave paid you, roll again. Everything in the game is a variation on making that cycle faster or bigger.

The tutorial asks you to roll a few times, build something, and survive the first waves. Follow it — it hands you three boost potions at the end.

Your first four purchases

Buy in this order. The reasoning is that rolling is the bottleneck on everything else, so anything that improves rolls comes before anything that improves objects.

What you will actually roll

The early table is dense and cheap. Wood Block is 1 in 3 and Wooden Spear Barrel is 1 in 4, so most of what you place in the first ten minutes comes from the bottom two tiers.

Basic Cannon at 1 in 30 is the first object that meaningfully kills things — 100 damage per second at level one, which is more than anything else you can get at that rate.

Do not chase rarity yet

You can only place 40 objects to start. That cap is what limits your base, not the quality of what you roll, which is why Place More I beats saving for something rare.

Wood Blocks are worth placing even though they are the most common thing in the game. Bulk health in front of your damage is what stops early leaks.

Claim the index bonus

Every new object you see fills an index slot, and filling slots raises a permanent luck multiplier. It does not apply automatically — open the index and press claim.

This is the one luck source that never expires, which makes rolling for variety early worth more than it looks.

Then go idle

Your base fights while you are logged out. Once you can afford Roll Offline at 8,000 coins it also keeps rolling, which turns the game into short check-in sessions rather than a grind.

Before you log out, check that your front line has enough walls to soak hits and that damage pieces are not trapped behind empty space.

FAQ

Build a Base RNG Beginner Guide FAQ

Are there codes to redeem at the start?

No code system has been confirmed for this game, so there is nothing to redeem. Spend your first 100 coins on Luck I instead.

Should I save coins for a rare object?

No. Coins buy skills, not objects — objects come from rolls. Spend on Luck and placement limit.

What should I place first?

Walls in front, then Basic Cannon or Cross Bow behind them. Empty lanes leak waves even if your backline DPS looks fine on paper.
